many visitors to the gardens will have walked under the great canopy of this beautiful tree at the front of the garden near the street entrance - it was a Blue Atlantic Cedar - it died this summer within a couple of weeks - we noticed a lot of needles dropping off around December then by late February it was completely bare and dead - around the base under the mulch we found a white ground fungus and feel this may have been the reason - did anyone else experience this type of thing in the garden this summer...
